Privacy policy

Last updated: October 7, 2026

This policy explains how personal data is handled when you use gymsystems: the website at gymsystems.ch and the gymsystems app for iPhone.

Who is responsible

gymsystems is operated by Manthano GmbH, Switzerland. Your gym decides why and how your membership data is used and is responsible for it. We process that data on the gym's behalf to run the platform. For questions about your membership, contact your gym first. For anything about the platform or the app, write to support@gymsystems.ch.

What data we process

  • Account data: your name, your email address and, if your gym records them, your phone number, address and date of birth.
  • Membership data: your subscriptions, class bookings, invoices and payments, and the waivers you have signed.
  • Access data: a short-lived signed QR code for door access, and check-in and check-out times when you enter or leave the gym.
  • On your device: the app stores your sign-in session in the iOS Keychain and remembers which gym you chose. Signing out removes the session.
  • Technical data: our servers keep standard logs, for example the IP address and time of a request, to run and secure the service. On the website we use Vercel Speed Insights for anonymous performance measurements. The app has no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.

Why we use it

To sign you in, show your membership, let you book classes, issue invoices and open the door. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.

Service providers

We use service providers that process data on our behalf: Supabase (database, sign-in and file storage), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (card payments, only if your gym turns them on) and Resend (email delivery). Door terminals at your gym connect through our access gateway.

Some of these providers may process data outside Switzerland, for example in the EU or the USA.

How long we keep data

We keep your data while you are a member and as long as your gym needs it. Records we must keep by law, such as accounting records, are kept for the legally required period.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, for correction, for deletion or for a copy. To delete your account, ask your gym or write to support@gymsystems.ch.

You can also complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
